Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my money held?
Kraft Capital has selected Charles Schwab as primary custodian for our clients’ accounts. By using Schwab, we have access to a wide range of investment products and trading services. As a registered broker-dealer and a member SIPC, Schwab is subject to certain regulations intended to protect assets held in brokerage accounts. Clients are not required to use Schwab for us to provide services, but we do recommend them as custodian.
What is a ‘fee-only fiduciary’? How are you paid?
A person who is acting as a fiduciary must make every decision with their clients’ best interest in mind. We take this one step further as a ‘fee-only’ firm, which means we can’t earn commissions for recommending specific products like a ‘fee-based’ advisor can. This removes a conflict of interest that comes into play when recommending certain investment or insurance products. Kraft Capital can only be paid through a fee that is agreed upon directly between us and our clients. This helps us create relationships with our clients that are built on trust and transparency, not bias.
Do I have enough money to work with you?
Our firm specializes in working with a wide range of clients. We do not have a minimum for our investment management services. We encourage everyone to schedule a consultation to see if they’re a good fit for our firm. Our pricing is transparent and our minimum annual fee is $1,800.
